EQ7 Future Project - maybe

If I had a team of 20+ quilters maybe I would get my designs made up but right now I'll just keep at all part of design work in the studio.

This is a favorite of mine would look in great red too.

Just Busy

Life has been very busy the last couple weeks. We had a January thaw which cause the field pond to spread.

Water ever wheres.

The spring on the edge of the property water very high.

Rudy sitting pretty but very bored

I'm always amazed to see things growing in the old hand dug well in Mid Jan after -30 temps. The well is covered only with screen cover

Making it Work!

If all the world is a stage then 59 acres will have to work as a studio. With the house still under construction I have had to find comfortable spots to be inspired and create. The other day when temperatures were the best,  Keta and I went out snowshoeing to break trail and take a few photos, I realize I am very fortuned to have this play ground all to myself (with the dog in tow.)

DH is more in to the working aspect then winter sports

A thousnd places to sleeps and this is the best he could find.

The aftermath

So I have lost count of the storms this pass week, there was one on Wednesday and then the weekend was just nasty! I didn't leave the the farm till the 24th and we had lost power for most of the day. We were the lucky ones has power was restored later that evening. So many in the surrounding area are still with out going on day 5+.
But the aftermath did provide opportunity for some awesome photos (some better then others)
